I’m always using ingredients I have on hand to make delicious treats for my family. Here’s a quick recipe for cake brownies that the whole family enjoyed.
Ingredients
1 stick butter
1/2 cup coconut oil
1 cup cane sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup unsweetened cacao chips, melted
Directions
Mix butter and coconut oil. Add cane sugar and mix well. Add eggs and mix until just incorporated. Next, add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix using a wire whisk. Be careful not to over mix. Add cooled melted chocolate and stir with a spoon.
Grease a 8×4 baking pan. Add brownie mix and spread evenly in pan. Place uncooked mixture into cold oven and set oven to 325 degrees.
Bake until toothpick instead in middle comes out clean.
