Oldest daughter and 3rd daughter are on a grain and sugar free journey so I have to come up with suitable options they can eat also. These buttery, cheesy crackers were a definite hit with everyone in the family.
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup butter, slightly room temp
- 3 cups almond flour
- 2 TBSP garlic powder
- 1 TBSP dried herb mix
- 1 tsp himalayan salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Directions
In a food processor add; shredded cheese, egg, milk, butter, and almond flour. Blend on high speed about 3 minutes. Next, add garlic powder, herb mix, salt, and pepper. Continue to blend until dough forms.
On a large cookie sheet place parchment paper. Spread dough evenly on cookie sheet using hands to gently press dough down onto sheet. Dough is a bit sticky so press carefully. Once dough is evenly spread use a pizza cutter to make even square shapes throughout dough. Use the end of small rounded cooking utensil or a chopstick to make holes in the center of each square. Then place in a heated 350 oven. Bake about 12-15 minutes until baked through. Let cool completely
