We love when strawberries are in season in my home.  There’s nothing like some yummy fresh strawberries that you purchased fresh from the local farmers market.  With that being said, i’ve found quit a few ways to enjoy strawberries, other than just eating them right out of the box.

If your children like flavored milk, such as chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, etc then they’ll love this quick and easy home-made strawberry milk.  Actually, you might enjoy a glass too!

Ingredients

3 small baskets fresh  strawberries (or more if desired)

4 cups whole milk or milk alternative (i’ve used raw milk, vanilla almond milk and vanilla hemp milk before)

Directions

Remove hulls from strawberries, cut in half and place in a blender.  Add milk and puree until smooth and creamy.  Pour into chilled glasses and serve with fresh whipped cream and a straw.
